Scott Palmer Managing Director

Since 1990, Scott has been involved in the Automotive business full-time. First as a Territory Manager for Maremont Exhaust Products, then as a Manager and later owner of Thrifty Auto Service, in Edmonton, Alberta. Prior to his career in the Automotive Business, Scott was a graduate of the Business Program at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT), graduating in Management. While still involved as a shop owner and member of AG, Scott is also the Managing Director of AutoGroup and conducts the day-to-day business of the group on behalf of its' members.

R. Barry Palmer Director

Barry has had long and diverse career. Born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba he began by working with the Winnipeg Fire Department as a firefighter. He then started an interesting position with British Overseas Airway Corporation, where he was involved in sales, marketing and P.R., operating out of the U.K, Middle East, Africa and the Caribbean. Barry then started in the automotive industry which has included many different positions. While living in Toronto, Barry was a Sales Representative and then OEM Sales Manager for AP Parts of Canada, he also served as Sales Manager for Monroe and then served as the Western Region General Manager of Midas International, based in Calgary. He also has had success owning and developing many automotive shops in Western Canada, including Thrifty Auto Service in Edmonton. In 1978 Barry founded and developed the Canadian Automotive Buying Group, today known as AutoGroup.

Natasha Kamdar Member Services / Rebates

Natasha has been with Autogroup for six years and brings a total of eleven years experience in the automotive business with her. After university, Natasha worked for Chrysler as a Finance Manager and really enjoyed all aspects of the industry. Along with her work for AutoGroup, Natasha also works for Thrifty Auto Service and relies on her involvement in the daily business of an independent shop to help her appreciate the AutoGroup vision. When not working, Natasha enjoys spending time with her family and friends, travelling, reading and cooking. She looks forward to seeing all the members at the future meetings.

Lisa Darling Administration & Accounting / Rebates

Lisa has been with AutoGroup and our associated companies for over two years. She brings a wealth of administrative experience having worked for over 10 years in the private health care industry with the Gimble Eye Centres. Lisa's backgroung in office management and accounting, make her a great asset to AutoGroup. Feel free to call Lisa with any questions or concerns.

Jasper AutoGroup Office Dog

Jasper the Chocolate Lab, is our resident office dog. He will always greet you with a lick and a wag of the tail. Be careful, he is overly friendly! Jasper hasn't missed a day of work in over 7 years!
