MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS
To maintain a positive relationship with suppliers, customers and other associated shops, membership is restricted to businesses that meet certain criteria and agree to conform to a few important and binding policies. As a member of AutoGroup, you will be required to:
Be an independent operation with experience in the marketplace and an established reputation for providing quality workmanship and customer service.
Participate in the approved Canada-wide warranty program currently in place.
Support the group's primary-supplier programs approved by group majority.
COMPUTER SOFTWARE
AutoGroup supports StockTrac Enterprise, by Janco International and Carrus Technologies Shop Management System computer software. AutoGroup member programs and pricing through APD (Western Canada). OPERATING PROCEDURES
Although obligated to follow the group terms & conditions, the member maintains complete autonomy in all other matters pertaining to their business operations. To keep administrative cost to a minimum, the group follows the simplest possible operating procedures.
Members are supplied with a group directory, as well as procedures for administrating the National Warranty Program.
Current approved suppliers have a ship-to/bill-to account number for each member. Participating businesses receive the original invoices and statements directly from the supplier and are obligated to pay the full amount within the supplier's payment guidelines. Any member shop that fails to meet the payment requirements set out by the approved supplier automatically relinquishes its membership.
Independent ASP's (Automotive Service Providers) wishing to join AutoGroup are required to complete a membership application, which is subject to the approval of the current group members and approved suppliers.
